You hear it all the time.
Breakfast is perhaps THE most important meal of the day.
It puts fuel in the tank and gets you off the starting block with energy.
Unfortunately, with our busy schedules, fewer and fewer people enjoy a traditional morning breakfast.
Like the “old days”.
More often than not, it’s coffee, maybe juice, cereal, a muffin or an energy bar, maybe some yogurt or a smoothie.
As it turns out, more people have time later in the day, or after work, to make a few things in the kitchen that they can enjoy the next morning without spending much time or bother. And we’re going to give you some links to a number of our tasty favorites. All of which you can make later in the day to enjoy in the morning if you prefer.
A traditional “classic” breakfast usually contains eggs in some form, a breakfast meat and potatoes or a starch (grits).
On the B side of that greatest breakfast hit are the pancakes, waffles, French toast and, if you’re feeling especially “fancy”, crepes. Even those breakfasts, usually contain a breakfast meat.
There’s NO doubt, bacon is THE number one breakfast meat in America, and being the “Meat Experts”, Cattleman’s has by far, one of the greatest selections in Southeast, Michigan to allow you to choose from thin sliced, thick sliced, multiple flavor cures, choose your smoke type, or none at all, peppered, or not.
And lots of Pork Sausages in links or patties, as well as thin or thick sliced breakfast beef steaks.
Ham is another go-to breakfast meat for many of us and, you guessed it, we have LOTS of styles to choose from.
Of course, we have all of your other breakfast grocery needs from many types of fresh eggs, dairy products, juices, breakfast breads and whatever produce you enjoy with your eggs from fresh potatoes, to pre-shredded potatoes in our refrigerated section or, frozen portioned hash browns in our famous and well stocked freezer bunkers.
If you’re a Centerline customer, another popular alternative, available Friday through Sunday mornings, is to pick up one of our freshly made, grab and go Breakfast Burritos or Breakfast Sandwiches.
And if, as we mentioned, you enjoy cooking or baking and you’d like to start your day off with something you prepared the previous evening, here are a few recipe links to get you started.
