A Little Story About This Dish…
If you’ve never had the opportunity to enjoy candied bacon, this recipe is a perfect place to start.
The sweet flavor of maple and brown sugar together create the perfect crust of caramel, chewy goodness that is more than addictive.
It’s not fair.
This recipe can also be “tweaked” by adding a sprinkle of Cajun seasonings for some heat, or a sprinkle of cumin and chili powder for a more “southwest” flair or just a sprinkling of some freshly cracked black pepper.
We prefer a thick sliced, well smoked bacon for this recipe and Cattleman’s has MANY to choose from!
