½ stick Salted Butter, Melted
1/3 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1 tablespoon Water
3 tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
¼ teaspoon Kosher or Sea Salt
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
2 ½ cups Rolled Oats (Oatmeal)
½ cup Wheat Germ
¼ cup Slivered Blanched Almonds
¼ cup Pecan Pieces
¼ cup Sunflower Seeds
¼ cup Pepita Seeds
1/3 cup Raisins, Sun-Dried Cherries or a Mix of Both
Step 1
Pre-heat your oven to 300 F.
Step 2
Combine butter, maple syrup, water, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3
Add the oats, nuts and seeds and toss well to coat all the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Do not add the raisins or sun-dried cherries at this time.
Step 4
Spread the granola mixture on a non-stick sheet pan or a parchment lined baking pan.
Step 5
Bake for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Stir the granola mixture and add the raisins or sun-dried cherries.
Step 7
Return the granola to the oven and bake an additional 15 minutes or until the mixture is lightly browned and crisp.
Step 8
TIP: For a more chunky, cluster style granola, chop the granola mixture into 1 inch size pieces after the first 15 minutes of baking.

Allow the granola to fully cool before placing it in an airtight container for storage.
